Biography

From  town of St. Andrews emerges a man of steel both on and off the track – Derek “Duffy” Duff. Known for his skill as a steel fabricator by day and a racer by night.

Unlike many racers who cut their teeth in junior leagues, Duffy’s journey into racing was unconventional. Without the backdrop of junior racing, he dove headfirst into the heart-pounding world of 2L saloons.

Despite the lack of a junior career, Duffy wasted no time in making his mark on the track. His first-ever race win in 2005, at the iconic Knockhill circuit, stands as a testament to his natural talent and unwavering determination.

In the fiercely competitive world of racing, Duffy has encountered his fair share of rivals. From seasoned veterans like James Cochrane and Peter Hunter to up-and-coming young guns eager to prove themselves, Duffy thrives on the challenge of battling it out on the track.

Beyond the confines of racing, Duffy leads a double life as a steel fabricator, seamlessly blending his passion for craftsmanship with his love for speed.

As Duffy continues to etch his name into the annals of racing history.
