The thunder returns to Cowdenbeath Racewall on Saturday 13th and Sunday 14th June for a spectacular Double Header British Championship Weekend featuring the McGill Motorsport Saloon Stock Car British Championship and the T.Page Motor Engineering ORCi Ministox British Championship.
This action packed weekend promises the best of stock car racing.
Saturday evening sees the Saloon Stock Cars take to the track for the all important qualifying heats, setting the stage for Sunday’s main event – the 2026 McGill Motorsport British Championship. Following the British Championship race, drivers will race for another trophy every Saloon Stock Car driver wants to win – the 228 Raymond Gunn Tribute.
Held in honour of one of the true legends of the sport, the Raymond Gunn Tribute is far more than just another race. It is a fitting tribute to one of the greats, and every driver will be determined to take the chequered flag in Raymond’s memory. Adding even more excitement to the weekend, lifelong stock car fan Paddy Delargy has generously donated £1,000 to the Saloon Stock Car prize fund, creating an additional dash for cash race to the format.
The ORCi Ministox also take centre stage across the weekend. Saturday night sees drivers battle in the T.Page Motor Engineering ORCi Ministox British Championship, before returning on Sunday for the Keir Millar Memorial, proudly sponsored by Hodge Plant Ltd another race every driver wants to win.
Also featured throughout the weekend are the ever entertaining National Ministox, who will be competing for the Scottish Championship.
With two British Championships, the Raymond Gunn Tribute, the Keir Millar Memorial and the National Ministox Scottish Championship all on the schedule, this is a weekend not to be missed at Cowdenbeath Racewall.

Parking
Please be considerate of our neighbours and park in one of the many free parking areas around the town. A number of these are highlighted in red in the attached map. There will be additional FREE spectator parking at Chapel Street. Entry will be from Broad Street operating a ONE WAY SYSTEM exit via Rowan Terrance.
DO NOT park on verges or block access to properties – the authorities will ticket or remove your car.
Turnstiles
Spectators are permitted to enter the stadium starting at 1:30 pm, with one turnstile operational initially. The remaining turnstiles will open at 3:30 pm. Furthermore, there are turnstiles at the Chapel Street entrance taking cash/card and advanced tickets, offering convenient parking and faster admission. Buy your tickets here.

Our 50/50 raffle tickets will be on sale just inside the turnstiles. Winner takes home 50% of the evenings takings. Draw closes 30 minutes after the turnstiles close.

Our Racewall Bar will be open located on the pit bend terracing near our hospitaility suite. As well as our usual catering outlets for all your food and soft drink requirements.

McGill Motorsport Saloon Stock Car British Championship Qualifying
The Saloon Stock Cars return to Cowdenbeath Racewall for one of the biggest weekends of the season as drivers battle for the McGill Motorsport British Championship.
Among the star names in the field is 720 Archie Brown. No stranger to success at the Racewall, Brown claimed the World Championship here in 2024 before adding the European Championship in 2025. Can he add another major title to his impressive collection and secure the famous chequered roof?
Current British Champion 120 Luke Dorling arrives determined to defend the title he won last year. Another driver carrying a championship roof into the weekend is 389 Ryan Santry. The reigning World Champion has enjoyed a fantastic run of form and will be looking to add the British Championship to his growing list of achievements.
The Scottish challenge is headed by some of the Racewall’s most successful drivers. 618 Stuart Shevill Jnr is no stranger to championship success around Cowdenbeath and always finds extra speed when the big honours are on the line. Brother 661 Graeme Shevill, the current ORCi and Scottish Champion, has shown excellent pace throughout the season and will be hoping to secure the British Championship on home soil adding yet another title to his already impressive roof. 121 Kai Gilmour also enters the weekend in strong form. Having enjoyed an impressive start to the season, Gilmour will be aiming to continue that momentum and challenge for one of the sport’s most prestigious titles. Making the trip from Northern Ireland is newly crowned National Champion 747 Matt Stirling. Stirling has already added a major championship to his roof this season and will be hoping to take the British Championship back across the Irish Sea.
As always, the Saloon Stock Cars promise spectacular action, big hits and non stop entertainment. With qualifying heats taking place on Saturday before Sunday’s main event, every point and position will matter. Alongside the McGill Motorsport British Championship, drivers will also contest the prestigious 228 Raymond Gunn Tribute and a special Dash for Cash, ensuring there is plenty to race for throughout the weekend.
With championship glory, silverware, prize money and the famous chequered roof all on the line, expect the Saloon Stock Cars to once again deliver a weekend of unforgettable racing at Cowdenbeath Racewall.

T.Page Motor Engineering ORCi Ministox British Championship
The T.Page Motor Engineering ORCi Ministox British Championship takes centre stage on Saturday evening as the stars of the future battle it out for the chequreds.
With the British Championship decided on Saturday night and the Keir Millar Memorial, proudly sponsored by Hodge Plant Ltd, taking place on Sunday, spectators can look forward to two spectacular days of racing from the talented young drivers of the ORCi Ministox formula.
There is even more incentive for the competitors this weekend thanks to lifelong stock car fan Paddy Delargy, who has generously donated £1,000 worth of prizes, adding extra rewards and excitement to an already fantastic weekend of racing.
A strong field of drivers is set to travel from across the UK in pursuit of championship glory. Making the trip from the South West are 607 Bonnie Weston and 313 Charlie Weston, while 99 Jayden Roff returns north once again as one of the formula’s more familiar visitors to Scottish events.
The home challenge is led by some of Scotland’s brightest young talents. 41 Lana Middler will be looking to make the most of home advantage, while 874 Ben McLellan and 219 Oakley Grief are both expected to be firmly in the mix throughout the weekend. Grief has enjoyed an impressive season so far and will be eager to convert that form into championship success.
The ORCi Ministox consistently produce some of the closest and most competitive racing on the programme, with drivers showing remarkable skill, determination and racecraft despite their young age. With a British Championship, the Keir Millar Memorial, £1,000 worth of prizes and plenty of silverware all on the line, every race will count as the youngsters give everything in pursuit of the famous chequered roof.

Joining the action-packed British Championship Weekend are the National Ministox, who will be racing for the Scottish Championship across both days at Cowdenbeath Racewall.
A strong field of visitors is expected to make the journey north as the young stars of the formula battle it out for Scottish Championship honours. The National Ministox always provide exciting racing, with drivers displaying impressive skill, confidence and determination despite their young age.
Racewall fans always look forward to welcoming the National Ministox’s With the Scottish Championship sponsored by Sibbald Training Ltd at stake, every race and every point will matter as the drivers give it their all.
