The month of October at the Racewall concludes in traditional fashion with the Saloon Stock Car UK Superbowl XXXIV pride of place as the headline event.

Parking

Please be considerate of our neighbours and park in one of the many free parking areas around the town. A number of these are highlighted in red in the attached map. There will be additional FREE specator parking at Chapel Street, for this weekend. Entry will be from Broad Street operating a ONE WAY SYSTEM exit via Rowan Terrance. See parking map for details.

Thanks to Rogerson Coach Travel there will also be a free shuttle available from Halbeath Park and Ride, Halbeath, KY11 7EG

Saloon Stock Cars
The Saloon Stock Cars will contest their 34th UK SuperBowl, with the title going the way of Stuart Shevill Jnr last season. National Series Champion 349 Michael Allard has started on the front row of the Superbowl for a number of seasons in succession – will he stay out in front to win this time around? Allard heads the visiting entry that will also include regular Racewall visitors 747 Matthew Stirling and 760 Joey Reynolds, both of whom would be popular winners if they could cross the line first. Scottish Champion 670 Ross Watters will be looking to secure a second successive track championship over the weekend, and will be among the home hopes for the SuperBowl title alongside fellow National Series entrants 122 Zak Gilmour and 697 Jordan Cassie. 684 Ian McLaughlin, 600 Barry Russell and 116 Diggy Smith are other former Superbowl champions due to grid, while the likes of 661 Graeme Shevill and 620 Aaryn Triggs will be hoping to be the first non-star winner of the SuperBowl since McLaughlin in The South West contingent is set to be led by 720 Archie Brown and 577 Harry & 677 Warren Darby. BriSCA F2 Stock Cars (Saturday only)
The BriSCA F2 Stock Cars will compete for their Champion of Champions and James Clarke Cochrane Memorial Final, both won in 2022 by Chris Burgoyne. Amongst the drivers to watch in the Champion of Champions will be the last winner before the race 674 Steven Burgoyne, wet weather specialist 16 Craig Wallace, multiple Final winner and former World Champion 100 George MacMillan Jnr while 514 Reece McIntosh may prove difficult to catch from the yellow grade. There is set to be visiting interest once again from 184 Aaron Vaight while 464 Matt Linfield plans on making another near 1000 mile trip from his south east of England base having enjoyed his visit at the beginning of the month. There is also a return to the Racewall planned by 679 Kieran Howie. Booking list below:

ORCi Stock Rods (Sunday only)
The ORCi Stock Rod drivers will compete for the Simon Laing Memorial in memory of a much missed racer in the formula – won last year by Michael Bethune. The track championship battle is set to be decided with ORCi Champion 272 John McAllister and 46 Stewart Paterson in contention. 197 James Gray and British & Scottish Champion 612 Leon Stewart will be hoping to sign off from impressive domestic seasons, while towards the front of the grid keep an eye out for 165 Jamie Dawson who was the Final winner last time out. Visiting interest will include Irish Open & National Champion 944 Callum Hosie and West of England Champion 426 Keith Channon from the South West of England and 918 Calyn Peoples and 958 Shea Duff from Northern Ireland. The Whites & Yellows Series is also set to be decided with 255 Graham Osborne and 338 James Halkett in close order at the top of the chart. Booking list below:

ORCi Ministox (Sunday only)
The ORCi Ministox have their Sharpies' Shield to race for, won in 2022 by Lewis Burgoyne. The youngsters have been particularly unlucky with race conditions at the Racewall recently, with their three previous appearances all being on wet evenings – they'll be hoping for a drier day on Sunday. 6 Hamish Plenderleith took the East of Scotland Championship last time out, while last Sunday at Taunton saw victory for 484 Dean Heeps in the Club 21 Trophy. Scottish Champion 306 Oliver Heron and ORCi Champion 629 Kerr Paterson are both set to be present, as is new British Champion 7 Charlie Hardie and current Crimond National Points leader 050 Ethan Jack Gemmell. A number of drivers have been making significant strides towards their first Racewall podiums recently, including 78 Nicole Allardyce and 879 Caitlin Mitchell. One of this year's most impressive newcomers from the South West of England, 475 Mason Sealy, is set to make his Racewall track debut. Booking list below:

Classic Hot Rods
The Classic Hot Rods have a number of trophies to race for over the weekend. The Jim Purdie Memorial was won in 2022 by John Buchan, while 254 Richard Beere is set to defend the Doug Farrer Trophy and 210 Hughie Weaver the Cock O' The North Trophy. The Ian Bruce Memorial will be raced for the first time. 162 Keith Chesher has been the front runner in the formula at the Racewall through most of the season and will be looking to add to his trophy haul. 611 Adam Low and 629 John Sibbald are set to make their Racewall debuts in the formula, while further visiting interest is set to include 156 Kevin Gooding, 445 Graham Boyd and track debutant 152 David Hitchen.
