Day 1 of the Spring Speedweekend featured the World Qualifying Round for the BriSCA F2s, Matty Munro Memorial for the Saloon Stock Cars and Michael Hastie Memorial for the Stock Rods. 38 Dave Polley late decision to race paid dividends with a Heat and Final win cementing his position near the top of the World Qualifying Points table. 612 Leon Stewart won a hard fout Michael Hastie Memorial whilst 507 Paul Honeyman snatched victory in the Matty Munro Memorial which featured an entertaining battle for the lead positions. The National Hot Rods also featured with 117 Robert McDonald claiming the Final win.
