The new season burst into life at the Racewall with the drivers present putting on a fine show for those spectating. 661 Graeme Shevill pipped his brother to the Saloon Final win, whilst novice driver 216 Cameron Doak swept all before him by winning the Jane Burt Memorial Final in the Stock Rods. 55 Tam Melrose came through from the back of the grid to claim the Prostocks final with 870 Dale Burt doing likewise in the 1330 Stock Cars.
