The Return of Knockhill

30th January 2020

GMP Scotland are delighted to announce that Stock Car racing will return to the Knockhill TriOval in 2020 for the first time in seven years.

Friday 15th May is the date for diaries with the BriSCA F2 World Qualifying Round headlining alongside Saloon Stock Cars and ORCi Stock Rods. An adjustment to the planned dates for the World Qualifying Rounds at Cowdenbeath and Crimond will see both follow on the Saturday and Sunday (16th and 17th) providing a trio of qualifying rounds for F2 drivers aiming to make it onto the World Final grid at Skegness in September.

GMP Scotland have maintained positive relationships with Knockhill Race Circuit in the intervening period since Stock Cars last appeared, and are very grateful to the management team for facilitating this date and hope that fans and drivers alike will support the fixture and show the strength of support for the tracks return to the BriSCA fold.

It is also hoped that BriSCA F1 will feature at the TriOval on Friday 26th June ahead of their Scottish Championship at the Racewall the following day in conjunction with our friends at Startrax Racing and confirmation of that date is hoped to be made shortly.
